What You’ll Become The Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and net new customers. The Account Executive empowers customers to achieve their goals by understanding strategy, business objectives, and desired outcomes, driving cloud revenue growth through leading sales efforts and delivering value with SAP solutions. What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible for: Complete a 10-month learn-apply program with classroom and field phases, supported by your sales team, and a critical customer-facing function within our Customer Success Board Area. Engage in multi-dimensional, experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process. Learn to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and renewals that foster account expansion. Receive onboarding in your local market with on-the-job training and mentoring by a Senior Account Executive; you will work behind the scenes and with customers. The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP and the Customer Success board area and provide professional experience to serve customers. We offer full-time employment from day one with practical learning applications. Upon successful completion, you will move into a direct customer-facing sales role in your market with ongoing mentoring to accelerate growth. Sales roles in scope:

Account Executive (AE), Solution Sales Executive (SSE) SSE focus areas: SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S)

– Knowledge of accounting, procurement, and supplier management, focused on visibility, cost reduction, and efficiency. SAP SuccessFactors (HCM)

– Core HR and payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management. SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)

– Knowledge of supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, product and project lifecycle management. SAP Customer Experience (CX)

– E-commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes. SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM)

– BPM/automation applications. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)

– Database/data management, analytics, application development/integration, intelligent technologies, and AI; understanding of integration, application, data, infrastructure, and security domains. What You Bring

2–3 years of professional experience in a quota-carrying sales environment in a technology company OR in a role with significant exposure to business processes. Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines across a defined territory with a proven track record of building customer relationships and articulating value propositions. A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally. A strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results. An understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics to identify business problems solvable with AI. A resilient mindset, embracing challenges with optimism and consistently striving for growth and success. Strong business acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries. Proficiency in English to engage with our global network. About SAP Academy for Customer Success

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive. For this role, the targeted combined range is 91600 - 155700 USD.
