Operations Supervisor – Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring efficient staffing within Digital Completions Services (DCS) and across NOV Digital Services (NDS). The role covers asset management, cost control, planning, coordination, execution operations, resource scheduling, equipment fleet logistics, dispatch activities, and customer requirements fulfillment. The supervisor serves as the central hub of communication among field personnel, internal stakeholders, and customers. Key Duties And Responsibilities

Work with management to develop resource plans for inventory and personnel based on the sales pipeline. Plan and coordinate the daily deployment of NOV equipment and personnel to completion sites (frac fleets, coiled tubing, service/workover/drill-out rigs). Ensure timely mobilization, rig‑up/rig‑down, repair scheduling, and return of deployed equipment. Periodically check field operations via NOV’s Max Completions to address urgent service or equipment requests and escalated issues as needed. Prepare and distribute daily summaries and a 7‑day forecast to stakeholders. Communication & Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, client contractors, and NOV field service teams to ensure operational alignment. Lead operational meetings and discussions between clients, contractors, and NOV stakeholders to drive efficiency and meet client timelines. Resource & Operational Management

Develop personnel and asset business cases with management staff to source assets per backlog requirements. Allocate manpower and equipment resources to maximize operational efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of deployed assets, service calls, and equipment usage. Support NOV stakeholders with execution planning and client management. Performance & Reporting

Generate daily operations reports and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Provide documentation support to billing personnel for timely invoicing. Develop and maintain requirements documentation related to process, hardware, and software improvements. Analyze and report client request trends to identify improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of proven experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or coordination roles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Skilled in various communication platforms (email, text, phone, group chat applications). Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean MVR. Ability to travel to field sites and client offices as required. Ability to work non‑standard hours and be on call 24/7 as operations demand. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast‑paced environments. Excellent communication skills (English). Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Working knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations, equipment, and terminology. Experience across multiple service lines and geographies within oilfield service providers. 5+ years of proven experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or coordination roles. About the Team
