Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
Responsibilities The Program Launch Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams through the successful launch of new customer programs and products into full‑scale manufacturing. This role acts as the central point of contact between customers and internal departments - ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality expectations are achieved from concept through production handoff.
Serve as the primary interface with customers for all new program and product launch activities.
Develop and maintain detailed project timelines (Gantt charts) and track progress against key milestones.
Lead cross‑functional core teams (Quality, Tooling, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service) to meet launch objectives on time and within scope.
Coordinate tool build schedules, sampling, validation, and production readiness activities.
Drive issue resolution and escalation to maintain schedule adherence and quality standards.
Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements.
Manage engineering change activities and ensure documentation accuracy through ERP and quality systems.
Conduct program reviews with internal leadership and customers to communicate status, risks, and mitigations.
Ensure smooth handoff of the program to Operations after successful production validation.
Support continuous improvement of launch processes and lessons learned integration.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3‑7 years of experience in manufacturing project or program management; medical device, automotive, or plastics industry preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality systems (ISO 13485 or similar).
Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Hands‑on, collaborative, and resourceful problem solver.
