Location Columbia, MD (Hybrid - Onsite first 2 weeks for training, then Tuesday/Thursday/Friday onsite)

About the Role TEKsystems' client is seeking entry-level Call Center Representatives to join a dynamic support team for an Automated Traffic Safety Enforcement program. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a permanent role with a stable organization.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls from citizens regarding parking violations
Provide accurate information and resolve inquiries professionally
Verify violation images and vehicle information
Assist with payment processing and data entry
Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions
Navigate multiple computer applications confidently
Deliver empathetic and effective communication in both English and Spanish
Must-Have Skills
Two years of customer service experience (minimum 1 year in a call center)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Typing speed of 30-35 WPM
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to defuse sensitive situations and multitask effectively
Nice-to-Have Skills
Administrative experience
Experience in front-facing customer service roles
Work Environment
On-site for the first two weeks in Columbia, MD.
Hybrid schedule begins after training (Tue/Thu/Fri onsite)
Fast-paced, high-volume call center (30-80 calls/day)
Performance monitored for attendance, call quality, and communication
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
