Job Description
Perform skilled technical work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general building maintenance, locksmith, lighting, audio, telecommunications, or other electrical systems with limited supervision.
Installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Wire HVAC systems, repair and maintain motors, pumps, generators, switchgears, and replace light fixtures and ballasts.
Provide multi‑trade technical maintenance support for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
Install, alter, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair hard key access and master keying systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or equivalent and four (4) years of experience in the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of trade school, license, certifications and three (3) years of experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License by the date of hire.
Based on area of assignment:
May be required to possess an Orange County license as a Journeyman Electrician or Plumber.
May be required to meet eligibility requirements for membership in the Associated Locksmiths of America within one year of employment.
Some areas of assignment require successful completion of an EPA certification program as a Universal technician prior to date of hire.
May be required to perform mandatory Emergency Standby Duty.
