Description The role is responsible for contributing to various Indirect Procurement objectives in order to realize maximum benefit to the business. This position will work with various stakeholders and cross‑functional teams across Brands and/or Regions on spend management initiatives. The position implements category‑specific strategies, drives strategic sourcing activities, and builds supplier relationship management programs for various categories of indirect spend. Additionally, the role will work directly on the identification, tracking and management of savings/value across regions or globally.
Responsibilities
Realizes maximum benefit to the business by implementing category‑specific supply strategies, ensuring that products are specified and optimized with the best supplier input and capabilities and using all demand‑sided opportunities with selected suppliers
Develops category strategies on a global, regional or local level in close alignment with stakeholders, including demand related approaches
Plans and leads sourcing projects on a global, regional, local and/or multi‑site level, engaging stakeholders and the required cross‑functional resources
Leads contract discussions with legal, implements contracts and captures them in the system
Identifies any challenges to efficient flow of materials and services and recommends operational improvements and/or develops tools to drive efficiencies
Develops, leads and implements local/regional/global supplier relationship programs in close alignment with stakeholders
Actively drives compliance of the category strategies and sourcing projects with the ELC Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOPs as well as legal and regulatory requirements
Contributes maximum value to the business through better strategizing, structuring and organizing the supply of the assigned categories, including selecting the "right" supplier base
Evaluates and defines the supplier base and secures capacity, plan implementation (timeline, resources, cost, ...) and aligns stakeholders
Drives execution of and compliance with the agreed category strategies
Supports regional and/or local sourcing projects related to the assigned categories by giving guidance, providing methodologies and sharing any other relevant expertise
Continuously monitors external market conditions and understands their potential impacts on supplier pricing or service levels
Plans and conducts suppliers business reviews including KPI and metrics reporting
Participates in special projects as requested
Builds capabilities of other team members
Qualifications
Microsoft Office, SAP Suite Applications
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Degree highly preferred
Professional Procurement Certification preferred
Previous work experience in a Procurement‑related field strongly preferred
4+ Years Minimum Experience
5% Travel
Pay Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $74,000.00 to $110,000.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
