We are a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor with office headquarters in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a satellite office in Wytheville, Virginia, and various project field offices in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions. Incorporated in 1947 as a family-owned business, we provide complex, heavy civil and geotechnical construction projects servicing both public and private sector clients. Brayman Construction has expertise in bridges, deep foundations, marine and dam construction and rehabilitation, heavy steel erection and rehabilitation, and demolition services. We have a long-standing tradition of providing exceptional training and promote from within.
Responsibilities
Inspire your team to complete quality construction projects by applying knowledge of the industry and strong leadership skills. Perform contract management, process change orders, prepare subcontracts, schedule projects, and consult with superintendents. Mentor project management team members and oversee construction projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and vendors. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management. At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and/or deep foundation construction. Work experience in both private and public sectors is preferred. Experience on bridge construction is preferred. Experience with heavy civil or foundation work including mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls is preferred.
Safety and Compliance
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Projects may involve travel, working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and variable schedules. The role may be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to status as a Federal Contractor. Some positions may require signing a confidentiality agreement.
Job Details
Project Manager work schedule: full-time with a varied schedule based on the project. Travel opportunities are available.
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year
