Tesoro Group is seeking a Multi-site Property Manager to join one of our long-term clients team at (2) of their properties in White Bear Lake & Cottage Grove, MN. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in property management, with knowledge and expertise in affordable housing, specifically within tax credit and Senior Housing. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).
This role will be working with (2) communities: Site 1 60 units/senior living 55+ and Site 2: 59 market rate units
Salary $28.50 - $31.00/hour DOQ. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).
Schedule
Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00, in addition possible evenings and weekends depending upon occupancy and move in and move outs.
White Bear 3 days per week
Cottage Grove 2 days per week
The Property Manager is responsible for the direct management oversight of the residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction and revenue.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of assigned properties
Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
Processing affordable recertifications
Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
Oversee properties' personnel and assess its performance
Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
Position Requirements
2 years’ experience in property management within affordable housing.
Knowledge of government subsidy programs, including long–term homelessness and tax credit experience, is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
Complete a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this role will be roving between (2) communities.
