INVENTORY SPECIALIST
Hours will be 11am – 8pm
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all materials, parts, and products are properly received, stored, and distributed. This role plays a key part in supporting warehouse efficiency and accuracy to meet company and customer needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
Record and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring product accuracy and proper documentation.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies in shipment quantities, damaged goods, or missing paperwork.
Update and maintain the company’s inventory management system (ERP or warehouse software).
Assist with physical inventory counts and year‑end audits.
Coordinate with other departments (including Accounts Receivable and Production) to ensure proper material flow.
Maintain organized warehouse areas, following company safety and cleanliness standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Complete daily cycle counts
Identify and correct inventory discrepancies
Relocate and complete inventory moving projects
Work along side pickers to ensure correct material is pulled and counts are accurate.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse inventory control or logistics.
Epicor Eclipse experience preferred but not required
Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of inventory control methods and warehouse procedures
WORK ENVIRONMENT Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
