About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Audience & Business Development Manager to grow our presence across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This hybrid role blends audience development, business development, and strategic relationship management.
You’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint within the European ETF ecosystem by cultivating strong relationships with marketing and distribution teams across financial institutions, asset managers, and service providers.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, passionate about ETFs and finance, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Lead commercial growth across the DACH region by selling event sponsorship.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with financial institutions, ETF issuers, index providers etc.
Achieve and exceed defined revenue targets (with significant opportunity for growth based on performance).
Build and maintain long-term client relationships that drive sustainable growth.
Audience Development
Develop and execute strategies to grow event attendance across the DACH region.
Collaborate with marketing and audience teams to optimise outreach and increase participation from key target audience segments.
Leverage data and feedback to refine audience strategies and improve event performance.
Strategic Collaboration
Work closely with the content and editorial teams to share market insights, inform strategy, and contribute to editorial direction.
Act as the on-the-ground representative of the brand within the DACH ETF community.
Collaborate with internal teams in the UK to align business development, audience engagement, and content strategy.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or audience growth, ideally within financial media, events, or asset management.
Strong understanding or keen interest in ETFs, asset management, and financial markets.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with remote teams.
Based in or near Frankfurt, with willingness to travel across DACH and to London monthly.
