Job Summary The Product Manager - Private Credit role will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Private Credit platform, covering front and middle office workflows across research and portfolio management. The high‑impact role demands deep expertise in private credit investments, strong analytical and communication skills, and stakeholder management across internal teams and external clients to ideate, build and launch products for a rapidly scaling market. The successful candidate will serve as a subject‑matter expert for the industry, ensuring our product roadmap anticipates and responds to emerging opportunities in technological change—pushing the boundaries of agentic workflows, AI, and market structure changes as private markets become more liquid, transparent, and a cornerstone of global capital markets.

Product Managers at Allvue are product leaders, leading by influence across the organization but also working with and mentoring Product Owners to develop their product skills. Responsibilities

Define the vision and roadmap for Allvue Credit Front Office private credit vertical.

Deeply understand the needs of customers and users in the Private Credit market, specifically front and middle office processes that empower investment decisions and allow operations to scale.

Gather and prioritize requirements from our clients, prospects and third‑party data providers through discovery calls, client workshops, and industry analysis.

Translate market insights and complex workflows into elegantly simple scalable, and delightful client‑facing features.

Partner with User Experience, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution from ideation to launch.

Translate the complexities of private credit investment workflows and reporting into simplified, automated, and agentic workflows using AI‑ and ML‑based tools.

Leverage analytics and client feedback to prioritize feature development and measure product success.

Validate features in the market through beta testing, user feedback, and iteration—ensuring usability and adoption across client segments.

Stay on top of industry trends in private credit to anticipate emerging client needs.

Own go‑to‑market readiness in partnership with sales, marketing, and support, including demos, release documentation, and training materials.

Lead all phases of the product lifecycle from concept to launch and product readiness, coordinating team members to ensure successful product performance.

Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Own objectives for backlog refinement and prioritization, balancing short‑term wins with long‑term product value.

Represent the product in client discussions, industry events, thought‑leadership pieces and strategic partnerships to position the company as a leader in fund accounting technology.

Manage, coach and develop Product Owners within scrum teams building the product leaders of tomorrow.

Requirements

Deep understanding of private credit workflows, ideally from working with a software vendor serving GPs, LPs or other institutional funds or from real front‑office investment experience.

Demonstrated success in building client‑facing features in enterprise software.

Tech fluency—comfortable collaborating with engineers, understanding APIs, and discussing product architecture.

Exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

A bias for user‑centered thinking and a love for solving complex problems with elegant solutions.

A self‑starter personality is a must; comfortable with ambiguity and able to add value and drive product development in rapidly changing environments.

Fluency in financial terminology and ability to communicate effectively with private markets business users.

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in private market finance or financial technology, preferably in B2B SaaS.
