Night Replenishment Manager

Position Purpose: Night Replenishment Managers (NRM) are members of the store leadership team and oversee freight handling activities. NRMs supervise the freight unload, pack‑out, and pack‑down processes; they communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed, and keep freight moving smoothly throughout the store. This position teaches, coaches, and trains associates on The Home Depot policies and procedures, ensuring all associates work safely. NRMs may be the only Manager available and must make business and associate decisions in partnership with resources following SOPs. NRMs provide input to Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on associates’ performance through ongoing performance management and talent planning discussions. Although NRMs have no direct reports, they participate in the selection process as needed. Each associate is responsible for a safe working environment by following safety policies, completing training, correcting hazards, and working safely to protect themselves, co‑workers, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
25% – People: Provide in‑moment coaching based on observations and behavior; partner with Night Operations ASMs on formal performance conversations and discipline; recognize associates demonstrating expectations; use recognition tools (BRAVO / Homer); conduct quality walks of completed tasks; walk off‑shelf merchandising locations; ensure areas are set per MAP or regional direction; ensure associates complete training; give input on associate performance and talent planning; assist SM and Night Operations ASM with interview and hiring; approve and address missed punches, variances, schedule changes; communicate with Night Operations ASM and SM regarding follow‑up actions; ensure associates adhere to store standards; hold associates accountable for company policies and procedures.
25% – Replenishment: Partner with Night Operations ASM to drive efficiencies and overnight productivity; supervise Consistent Unload, Directed Packout, and Purge Pack‑down processes; execute quality walks to ensure correct Packout process; ensure all trucks and trailers are received and unloaded timely and efficiently; ensure all freight is packed out or placed in overhead quickly; ensure trash is cleaned and store is Grand Opening ready at shift end; prioritize and communicate tasks to all associates and leaders.
25% – Safety: Ensure associates follow all safety, hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines; complete required safety training; use proper PPE and guide associates; teach proper lifting techniques; enforce safe distances around lift equipment; adhere to standard operating procedures; correct unsafe conditions; assist customers shopping in unsafe manner; ensure aisles and floors are safe; ensure associates complete store checklists; provide input and preventative action; recognize safe behavior.
25% – Shared Manager On Duty: Perform closing and MOD tasking plus whole‑store focus responsibilities; conduct hand‑off walk with prior MOD; identify focus or follow‑up areas; validate daily store priorities with ASMs and SMs; ensure checklists are completed; verify issue correction and preventative action; ensure equipment and machines function; review events and ads for required actions with DS or ASM.

Physical Requirements
Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
