This position is responsible for providing project support under the direction of a Project Manager. Performs ancillary duties as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist project manager in planning work schedule and coordinating project activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required. Oversee day-to-day project tasks including submittals, material requisitions, requests for information, applications for payment, and job review packages. Secure equipment price quotes, order equipment, and track delivery. Visit job sites daily for work inspections, check job progress, and resolve project and contract issues. Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis as requested, often requiring research, development, and interpretation of data. Lead project quality walks with Foreman and/or Superintendent(s). Compile Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals. Complete project closeout documents within two weeks of warranty date or final billing. Review and understand project estimates and entry into the job cost system. Perform or facilitate material takeoff, estimating, and pricing procedures for scope changes and new projects. Attend and represent the project team at meetings. Create project billing monthly according to each General Contractor’s process under PM supervision. Review accounts receivable and contact customers regarding accounts, including lien notifications as guided by the Project Manager. Review labor productivity reports to foster effective communication and accurate labor projections. Manage project financials using FAC reports and Solomon tools. Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with owners, contractors, vendors, and company personnel. Strong communication and presentation skills are desired. Learn to read and understand contract plans and specifications. Perform accurate estimating and buying takeoffs for mechanical systems. Handle data entry, weld logs, maps, and communication with fabricators regarding documentation issues. Manage logistics such as packing slips, tracking, scanning, organizing files, and verifying fabrication documents. Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Work out of a job trailer or office, with regular site visits. Negotiate construction site hazards. Work schedule as required by job demands. Operate a personal computer proficiently. Additional Details
