We are actively hiring a
Concrete Foreman
based out of our Commerce City, Colorado office. This position requires frequent travel throughout the Denver Metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily supervision of work crew(s) daily to complete the scheduled work in a timely and safe manner.
Must be able to lead and take responsibility for field operations
Ensure crew performs tasks to project timelines and budget
Monitor progress against project schedules to management
Operate and maintain various sizes of construction equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Understand the fundamentals and dangers within the industry
Prior construction knowledge required
Understands safety zones while working around equipment i.e., backhoes, bore rigs, air compressors, etc.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of restoration/concrete procedures.
1+ years’ experience directly supervising employees
3+ years working in construction, or the utility distribution industry
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds
Standing and walking including primarily on uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking, and hearing are required continuously
Employees will be subjected to outside weather conditions
Employees could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, heat and humidity \ The noise level in the work environment can often be loud
The employee is frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving traffic in the work environment
Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.
Compensation and Benefits: This is a union position, which means additional benefits may be offered directly through the union. $30.72+/hour
