Overview

Restaurant Shift Leader role at Rackson Restaurants. The Shift Leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety. The Shift Leader works hands-on as needed, partners with the Management Team to execute the business plan, provides training to others, and resolves issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Oversee all restaurant activities during their shift to ensure smooth operations, guest service, and compliance with brand standards. Interact with guests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively. Supervise staff, train team members, and enforce policies and procedures. Manage cash handling procedures and adhere to cash control guidelines. Plan and execute shift operations efficiently; ensure cleanliness and safety. Monitor labor and cost control; support the Management Team in executing the business plan. Identify and develop talent for future roles. Comply with labor laws and regulations; perform hands on duties as needed (preparing food, serving guests, cleaning, etc.). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience; previous fast-food restaurant experience required. Strong leadership skills; able to lead by example and remain calm under pressure. Effective communication in English; Spanish comprehension helpful. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion; know when to loop in stakeholders for support. Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations; positive attitude and customer-service focus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated and action-oriented; accountable and reliable. Must have reliable transportation and be available to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform tasks such as bending, wiping, sweeping, and mopping; exposure to variable temperatures in kitchen and storage areas.
