Estimating Student
for our Phoenix Buildings office, you will: Review and perform quantity survey assignments with the lead estimator Perform general sub-trade solicitation duties Bid document control Perform bid day assignments Sub-trade bid reviews and recapping Visit job sites periodically Use in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating) Develop relationships with subcontractors Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Desire a career in construction Project Management, Field Supervision, or Estimating Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline Any experience using On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel and Word, Revit, Acrobat, and other computer software Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and owners Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and perform quantity take offs 18 years of age or older Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party PCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
