Finan Center, Cumberland, MD (Allegany County) Potomac Center, Hagerstown, MD (Washington County) Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) Program, Hagerstown, MD (Washington County) Main Purpose of Job: This recruitment is for multiple positions and shifts located throughout the State of Maryland. Social Worker I, Health Services Court Involved (CI) is a professional clinical social work at the intermediate level providing direct social work services to clients in a special population in a health setting. The work involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities. The nature of the work may require evening and weekend hours. Work is performed in hospitals, residential facilities, clinics or local health units. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Social Workers. Experience:

None. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Candidates must be licensed as a Graduate Social Worker (on or by June 30, 2018), Master Social Worker (on or after July 1, 2018) or Certified Social Worker by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners prior to appointment to a position in State service. Applicants who do not have a license may also apply pending receipt of the required license. Candidates appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess an appropriate operator's license valid in the State of Maryland. The evaluation may be a rating of your application based on your education, training and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position.
