About the Emerging Talent Associate Program:
Warner Music Group’s Emerging Talent Associate Program is a paid internship designed to give participants hands‑on experience in the music industry. The program matches participants (ETAs) to departments based on interests and qualifications.
Key experiences include:
Participation in strategic meetings and day‑to‑day departmental activities.
Problem solving and idea contribution to support WMG’s global success.
Access to Professional Development Workshops, Industry Insights, and a Capstone Project.
Program Details:
Application Deadline: January 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET
Program Duration: choose one of the following options
Option 1: January 20 – March 27, 2026
Option 2: January 26 – April 3, 2026
Option 3: February 2 – April 10, 2026
Weekly hours: 20‑25 hours (varies by department)
Internship credit available for students seeking academic credit.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old by program start
Located in the United States for the program’s duration
Access to housing and transportation in the designated city
Self‑starter with curiosity for our business
Ability to commit to 20‑25 hour work week
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Alignment with WMG’s core values and business objectives
Knowledge and passion for the various WMG business units
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Passion for the music industry
Leadership experience on or off campus
Placement Opportunities:
Business & Legal Affairs – reserved for individuals pursuing a law degree
Creative – requires submission of a creative portfolio
Visual Media Licensing – Clearance (Hybrid Los Angeles, CA)
Visual Media Licensing – Creative (Hybrid Los Angeles, CA)
