Case Coordination Caseworker

Role Overview The Caseworker provides trauma‑informed services to refugees and other ORR‑qualified immigrants, supporting a positive integration experience and the achievement of client self‑sufficiency. The Caseworker works closely with clients, colleagues, and external partners to develop service and/or self‑sufficiency plans, administer referrals, and advance client goals.
Major Responsibilities
Conduct intake services and develop self‑sufficiency plans with clients.
Receive referrals for case management for ORR‑eligible and TANF‑eligible clients and participate in case conference meetings.
Create Family Self‑Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and Individual Employability Plans (IEPs).
Assess and monitor client progress, addressing challenges and ensuring resource utilization.
Document all client interactions in program databases and assist with tracking and reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with area service providers and partner organizations.
Utilize a personal insured vehicle or public transport to travel and transport clients as needed.
Train and lead volunteers or interns when required.
Conduct outreach to case management staff, refugee‑serving agencies, and ethnic community–based organizations.
Complete eligibility screenings and assistance with benefits applications.
Guide participants to establish contact and receive community support services.
Ensure services are linguistically appropriate and advocate for culturally competent providers.
Maintain timely and detailed case notes and data entry.
Assist in preparing donor funding reports and new funding proposals.
Participate in program meetings, staff development, and team engagement.
Follow IRC policies, procedures, and protocols, including Child Safeguarding.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Indirect Reporting: Interns/Volunteers
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Social Work or a related field (preferred) – comparable experience may substitute.
Minimum 2+ years of case management experience in a social services environment.
Experience with vulnerable or underserved populations preferred.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, and time‑management skills.
Excellent communication, public speaking, and cross‑cultural collaboration abilities.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly; 15‑passenger van access required.
In Arizona, must possess a fingerprint clearance card.
Proficiency in English (written & spoken); bilingual language(s) preferred (e.g., Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French).
Compensation Pay Range: $20.16 – $20.16 (US‑based candidates). Compensation is calibrated by location, experience, and skills.
Working Environment
Standard office environment with remote and field work.
Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
Physical requirement of lifting 35–50 lbs.
