Student Athlete Dining Cook

and play an essential role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to student-athletes. You'll prepare meals that meet the highest culinary standards while adhering to federal, state, and corporate regulations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality food and service are key! Responsibilities

Food Preparation:

Prepare high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules to meet delivery and service timelines. Portioning & Servicing : Serve meals or prepare items for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, proper temperatures, and that food is visually appealing and delicious. Cleanliness & Organization : Clean kitchen areas after meal preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard any excess food following safe food-handling procedures. Inventory & Storage : Keep refrigerators, storerooms, and kitchen spaces clean and well-organized. Ensure food and supplies are stored properly to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Equipment Operation & Maintenance : Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to instructions. Report any maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Safety Compliance : Attend in-service and safety meetings to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Team Collaboration : Work closely with coworkers, administrators, and managers to ensure smooth operations and the consistent delivery of quality meals. Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the dining services. Qualifications

Culinary Experience:

Previous culinary experience is required, with a strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations. Certifications:

Must have or be willing to complete

ServSafe Food Handler Certification

and

Alcohol Safety Certification . Positive Attitude : A team player with a positive attitude, ready to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Physical Ability : Ability to lift and move 20-40 lbs of kitchen supplies or food items.
