Ensure that guests are greeted cheerfully and in a timely manner Welcome new guests to the Ford family and take every step to elevate the guest experience Build rapport with guests to make them feel recognized and appreciated Write Repair Orders and Vehicle Check-up Reports Perform Interactive Inspection Processes while keeping the guest engaged Manage open repair orders with a proper daily route sheet Provide complete and accurate written estimates for labor and parts Indicate on repair orders exact guest information using proper operation codes Make special note of the main reason(s) the guest brought the vehicle in Set clear expectations and establish realistic “promise times” Monitor work-in-process and DMS for work distribution; work with Service Manager to oversee production when necessary Check progress of repairs throughout the day Maintain communication with guests about status of their vehicle Respond to inquiries regarding appointments, estimates, status, work-in-process, or other questions in a timely manner Compare final invoice with original repair order including amendments Explain repairs clearly to guests Perform a proper re-delivery Qualifications

High school diploma or the equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience as a service writer or advisor Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with complex issues and customer concerns Integrity and honesty are essential Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to type and utilize computer software and various operating programs Valid driver’s license and good driving record Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times during each shift We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law Employment type
