Job Description
The primary function of the Commercial Portfolio Manager is to work closely with the Relationship Managers and support the growth of the relevant businesses.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the Relationship Manager with their customer portfolio.
Assist Relationship Managers in monetizing on potential opportunities for existing customers, including identifying clients who are potential candidates for specific products/services/loans.
Partner with Relationship Managers to create prospect list, attend business development meetings and attend networking events.
Hold conversations with the clients, and potentially build and take on a book of business over time.
Work closely with different teams within the bank including service, credit, treasury solutions and others.
Maintain commercial banking sales pipeline (Israeli tech clients).
Partner with Relationship Managers to perform Know Your Customer (KYC), review and update information as needed.
Assist with due diligence process of credit opportunities (source, analyze, present and communicate with credit partners). Prepare and issue term sheet and commitment letters.
Follow past due payments and overdrafts.
Ensure that the bank is in possession of current financial information and that the information has been properly analyzed and on file and that proper and complete credit files are on hand.
Ensure that lines of credit are renewed in a timely fashion.
Reports to:
Group Head (East Coast). Works and supports the Relationship Managers.
Required Skills:
Speak and read Hebrew fluently.
Strong level of interpersonal and social skills needed to interact with customers and internal partners. Team player.
Strong personal time management skills. Ability to successfully manage and prioritize a heavy workload, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Good analytical skills.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively prepare and present business correspondence.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in a customer-oriented role.
Experience in a commercial bank, or more generally the financial services industry, is preferred.
Experience in a Tech company is preferred.
