What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage daily operations of construction vendors to expedite the construction and splicing of outside plant (OSP) facilities
Serve as the single point of contact for customers post-sale, overseeing project implementation and execution
Coordinate and facilitate timely completion of fiber connectivity solutions programs and projects
Maintain relationships with jurisdictions and right-of-way contacts to ensure compliance with permits and agreements
Track project progress and budget using Salesforce and manual tracking methods
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a focus on outside plant and fiber optics
Familiarity with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing large capital projects for at least four (4) years
Proficiency in Email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth, and AutoCAD
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to project sites as required
Strong negotiation skills and business-minded approach
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Proven experience with structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols
Ability to understand and read construction documents
Experience managing multiple aggressive RFP and design construction schedules
Familiarity with all facets of OSP management, including quoting and delivery
