This is a functional role with strong Salesforce functionality experience. NOT looking for a technical Salesforce candidate. Although this is a mostly remote role, we are looking for someone local to the Parsippany, NJ area that can attend occasional meetings.
Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst Consultant with Salesforce experience who will elicit business needs, specify user stories/use cases, model processes, evaluate system impacts, perform detailed analysis, prioritize business requests, and partner with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of new system capabilities, enhancements, and fixes in support of various applications. Essential Duties
70%: Work with constituents across the organization to understand current processes, systems and opportunities and capture requirements for new processes, systems, user interfaces and user experiences through methods such as requirements gathering sessions, interviews, surveys, workshops, etc. Collaborate with vendor partners and internal team members to communicate needs and requirements and determine appropriate solutions. Advise on best practices. Document current and future state in functional requirements, user stories, wireframes, interface designs, workflows, swim-lane diagrams, presentations, etc. for appropriate audiences including C-Level, business stakeholders and technical teams. 20%: Collaborating with IT Development (onshore/offshore) and QA to ensure appropriate and adequate system testing is performed. Facilitating, coordinating and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 5%: Providing guidance, reviewing work and providing feedback to other team members. 5%: Performing other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience capturing, and documenting B2B customer-centric requirements, with a focus on minimizing customer pain points, and providing visibility into operational data. Eliciting, documenting, and mapping Salesforce data to/from third-party and custom systems (SAP, Data Lake, etc.). Perform analysis and design using methods such as business requirements, functional specifications, user stories/acceptance criteria, use cases, swim lanes, process flows, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, and mock-ups/wireframes. Understanding of best practices with digital user interface designs and user experience. Experience with visually modeling requirements using tools. Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology. Experience in Jira. Experience with documenting requirements for integrations between enterprise systems. Strong experience in business process design and workflow analysis. Strong knowledge and execution of IT standards, policies and procedures. Knowledge of information security practices. Knowledge of project management methodologies & tools. Experience in working with multiple data sources and ERPs. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus. Google Suite and Lucid Charts knowledge is a plus. Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus. Level Based Competencies

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (with IT focus), or related majors and/or a track record of work experience in areas described above. 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and design with a proven record of successful medium to large-scale project implementations, preferably in enterprise B2B durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus. Seniority level
