Responsibilities
Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with preventative maintenance procedures.
Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques to follow per orientation guidelines.
Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies as needed using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
Follows universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
Keeps cart stocked with equipment and supplies; ensures chemicals are properly labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
Promotes professional conduct and maintains effective interpersonal relationships with team members and clients.
Supports improvements in productivity and efficiency of department operations.
Adheres to training commitments and pursues professional growth as required by the department.
Qualifications
Past cleaning experience preferred
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff
Ability to respond effectively to changing demands
Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing. This role may require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
