Salary Range:
$69,388.80 - $91,072.80/yr
This is an exempt (salary) position. Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level, and internal equity, including assessment of the applicant’s salary history and qualifications compared to market rates and job requirements.
This is an on-site role, 5 days a week.

Position Summary This senior managerial position is responsible for overseeing the WIC (Women, Infants, Children) program initiatives and supervising WIC personnel. This supervisory position is responsible and accountable for the planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating of the WIC Program and supervises WIC personnel.
Essential Functions
Supervise and train WIC staff and evaluate performance of staff
Collaborate effectively with agency administration to provide services for community emergency intervention
Ensure that WIC computer reports are utilized for program evaluation, quality assurance, needs assessment, coordination/integration, and other management purposes
Ensure timely completion and submission of reports and surveys as requested by the NC State WIC Office
Conduct a periodic assessment of the local WIC Project needs for program planning purposes
Develop, implement and evaluate annual WIC objectives per guidance in Performance Contracting materials
Participate in community coalitions, task forces, advisory committees that affect services to WIC eligible families
Provide leadership for assuring and coordinating the availability of nutrition services to participants receiving other health department services
Respond in cases of urgent and/or emergent events that require public health interventions
Employee may be trained for and assigned duties unrelated to their regular work; work outside normal business hours and days and/or in a different work location may be required
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of six years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition
Licenses and Certifications
RD or RDN licensure preferred
May require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License
May need to obtain and maintain a County Operator's Permit

Initiating referrals to community health care providers, social service, and advocacy agencies, and the ability to effectively refer clients as needed
HIPAA compliance standards and all aspects of client privacy practices
