As of October 31st, an exceptional law firm seeks a Benefits & Leave Administration Specialist to join their team. This role will involve:
Administering employee leaves, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and maintaining all documentation.
Supporting all facets of the firm’s benefits administration, including health, vision, dental, FSA, and other specialty benefits.
Maintaining files and internal communications, conducting periodic audits, and handling any troubleshooting or problem resolution.
Overseeing time and attendance records, including employee hours, leave balances, and time‑off accruals.
Advising staff on life event changes and coverage updates.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Leaves of Absence administration.
Professional with 2-3 or more years of related Benefits experience and knowledge of healthcare policies preferred.
Proficiency with an HRIS system such as Workday.
Strong understanding of laws and regulations for leaves of absence programs.
Tech‑savvy, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
