Located in Metro Detroit, our client is a dynamic full-service general contractor and design-build firm with work throughout the Midwest. The Project Manager Position The Project Manager oversees all phases of construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing site-specific safety plans, managing project schedules, coordinating logistics, and implementing quality control measures. The role involves mentoring engineers, interns, and field staff, while fostering a positive safety culture. Additionally, the Project Manager manages procurement activities, negotiates subcontractor agreements, and facilitates communication among owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. Reporting to the Group VP or President/CEO, the Project Manager oversees cost control, budget forecasting, change management, and project closeout processes while maintaining strong client and team relationships. Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Project Manager Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field 5+ years of construction experience with direct project supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office, P6 scheduling, Procore, and Timberline/Sage Familiarity with union relations and OSHA safety policies OSHA 30-hour certification required Compensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Project Manager This is a full time, salaried position offering competitive compensation based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(K) with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
