Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office-related growth objectives for three tax offices.
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Qualifications and Expertise
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates.
Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency in MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
Work Schedule You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
