Senior Consultant - Civil Engineering - East Coast A leading civil and environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior / Project Manager to join their growing Florida operations. This opportunity offers a mix of technical leadership, project management, and business development responsibility across both public and private sector projects.
You will join a collaborative and well-established multidisciplinary team delivering civil engineering services for municipal infrastructure, transportation, and private development clients. The role offers genuine progression into leadership, with flexibility for hybrid or remote working and a potential sign-on or relocation bonus.
Responsibilities
Lead civil design projects across public and private sectors, including municipal, commercial, and residential developments.
Oversee site/civil design including layout, grading, drainage, utilities, erosion and sediment control.
Manage stormwater systems, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical quality.
Oversee multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and provide strategic input into project and business planning.
Contribute to proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and client presentations.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering (or related field).
10+ years of civil engineering experience with proven project management capability.
Professional Engineer (PE) licence (active or ability to obtain reciprocity in FL).
Demonstrated success managing civil design and land development projects for municipal and private clients.
Strong technical expertise in stormwater, grading, and drainage design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
