We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic at our Saginaw, MI location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in heavy-duty diesel engines

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fuel systems, transmissions, and hydraulic systems

Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar role

Experience in driveline, trailers, brakes, and clutches

Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Valid driver's license and relevant certifications preferred
