The Sr. Logistics Specialist will manage day-to-day logistics operations, including outbound and inbound transportation, 3PL relationships, and driving service excellence through tactical execution and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining routing guides for all retailers, ensuring OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance, minimizing chargebacks, and aligning with customer compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of international logistics, LTL freight, and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement process improvements, with a focus on optimizing delivery performance, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES
Own, maintain, and optimize routing guides for all retail partners, ensuring compliance and minimizing chargebacks. Serve as the main day-to-day contact for 3PL and managed transportation partners, overseeing daily operations and ensuring service and financial objectives are met. Collaborate with other members of the Supply Chain and Logistics teams to develop and implement continuous improvement plans for transportation, order fulfillment, and distribution operations. Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and logistics teams, particularly during peak periods and promotional events. Monitor and improve OTIF metrics across all retailers and channels; develop root cause analyses and corrective actions when targets are missed. Manage accurate records and oversee all shipping transactions, including receiving orders, creating shipments in a TMS, and maintaining receipts in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC). Create and manage transfer orders to move inventory across Third-Party Manufacturers (TPMs) and 3PLs, and coordinate component transfers across warehouse locations. Monitor the relationship with our 4PL transportation provider, including tracking and service performance. Develop and maintain SOPs for logistics, covering routing, freight claims, shipment tracking, returns, and chargeback disputes. Analyze logistics performance data using Excel tools (e.g., pivot tables, dashboards) and manage logistics KPIs, reporting to leadership with data-driven insights. Collaborate with Customer Service and Order Management to resolve delivery issues, expedite shipments, and meet customer expectations. Assist in the development of the annual logistics budget and monitor actual vs. forecasted spending. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Working knowledge of domestic and international logistics (UK and EU are ) Strong experience in coordinating LTL Freight Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Proficiency in Excel with working knowledge of pivot tables and other data analysis functions Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence cross-functionally and externally Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with a problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
