Overview
Product Manager - RF Connectivity at Molex. Molex is seeking an experienced Product Manager to manage and grow our key RF Connectivity product lines. This role reports to the Director of Global Product Management and is responsible for defining and executing the product line strategy, driving growth for the RF Business Unit, and identifying and shaping product and technology roadmaps to guide future strategic direction. This role requires proven strategic thinking, business savvy, and leadership to promote cross-functional collaboration and deliver value to the business. The role may lead to general management opportunities in the future.
What You Will Do
Define the market for potential new RF products and solutions; understand and present market analysis including market definition, market sizing, growth rates, and economic drivers. Develop and communicate product and technology strategies with detailed business plans and viewpoints on potential profit generation and NPV. Interact with customers and the market to understand industry trends and needs; incorporate voice of market into product line strategies and understand related technologies. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Develop product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies describing how Molex will win with new products and technologies. Drive the development, release, and launch of new products; coordinate with engineering and plants to ensure successful launches. Collaborate with business development, sales, marketing, and distribution teams to drive sales, including marketing materials, training, and customer opportunities. Maintain products throughout their lifecycle (pricing, cost reduction, customer support) to maximize profit and meet customer needs. Demonstrate industry and product thought leadership and identify opportunities to develop industry partner relationships.
Travel required up to 25-50%. Participation in conference calls with colleagues in other regions during weeknights may be required.
Basic Qualifications
BS Degree At least 5+ years of experience in Product Management or technical experience in the RF/Microwave industry with deep understanding of markets, technology drivers/trends, customers, suppliers, integrators, distributors, industry events, and competitors Proven track record of achieving business growth P&L management experience Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
What Will Put You Ahead
Engineering degree + MBA RF Connector experience Knowledge or experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred Ability to build relationships and connect with the market
For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
