At Velociti Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public places such as break rooms. Success Criteria
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures Perform work assignments in a team with other employees Maintain clean work area Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules Take direction and respond to supervision Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers. Fill in during staff shortage Support shift lead in completing punch-list items Use proper personal protective equipment Present a professional appearance and conduct Understand customer service and satisfaction Understand reporting systems and the environment Instilling trust Key Accountabilities
Perform preventative maintenance checks on all equipment before use Before beginning work, secure the work area and post safety notices for other space users. Floors care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells. Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and extracting carpets, stairwells, and upholstery Wall cleaning Dusting (high and low) Routine restroom cleaning Routine office and break room cleaning Maintenance of floor care equipment Physical Demands & Work Environment
Stand 33%, Walk >66%, Sit Use of hands to finger, handle, rub, grip, and feel Reach above shoulders Push/pull and grasp with hands and arms 33-50% Climb or balance
