Job Description
Position Details: Job Title: Supply Chain Representative Job Location: San Antonio Tx-78249 Duration: 06 Months contract + Possibility of Extension Pay Rate: $13 / hour Responsibilities • The Entry level Supply Chain Buyer will work directly with the client and its suppliers to procure manufactured devices and will be responsible for the Requisition to PO (Purchase Order) placement. • Entry level Supply Chain Buyer will communicate with the internal management to assists in the development, clarification and definition of end-user requirements. • Assists clients to define the processes applicable to the category of services being procured. • This role will also be responsible for processing daily transactions and administrative functions to complete client/internal management deliverables within our service level agreements.
Key responsibilities: • Executes activities related to supply chain functions and ensures that daily targets are met and quality is maintained as per service level agreements/operations metrics • Receive and validates incoming requisitions • Answers supplier and customer inquiries • Works directly with internal management for daily responsibilities • Process data entry request per internal management • Looks up order information in JDE • Follows up with suppliers on open order status • Updates relevant data in JDE • Enters supplier response details in JDE/Access • Adheres to client's procurement policies and procedures • Work with suppliers to assure deliveries are made • Conducts audit and quality checks
