Ellwood National Forge Company (ENF) has an opening for a
Quality Assurance Specialist . This non-exempt salary position (overtime for over 40 hours/week) will be based in
Irvine, PA , with assignments and support including the Corry and Warren locations.
The position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare the Certified Material Documentation package for all products.
Enter data into online Government databases.
Review and understand customer order requirements and certify product compliance.
Generate and maintain spreadsheets, verifying compliance with customer requirements.
Maintain certification packages, waivers, test reports, supplier certification and claims files.
Provide clerical support to the QMS and Quality team leads.
Maintain shared files for all customer specifications, work instructions, forms, procedures, etc.
Perform internal audits.
Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma.
Ability to interact with customers and suppliers professionally and courteously.
Strong math skills.
Strong typing and data entry skills.
Ability to work well independently and in a team; self-motivated.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and prioritization skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Syteline).
Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree relevant to ENF business.
Knowledge of Metallurgy, Mechanical Testing, Nondestructive Testing, Dimensional Inspection, or Quality Improvement Techniques.
ISO auditing experience.
Experience in preparing detailed reports.
Experience working with government and commercial specifications.
Prior experience reviewing Customer Order requirements.
