Operations Supervisor

Lafayette, Indiana . This role is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to manage production, drive operational excellence, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team within a leading wire building plant. Promote a Culture of Zero by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and conducting incident investigations Act as the management representative during off-hours, including weekends and holidays Oversee staffing: Manage schedules, job assignments, and vacation coverage Lead Tier 1 Daily Accountability processes with team leaders and facilitate daily huddles Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S Lean Principles Required Skills for Operations Supervisor:
Energetic, forward-thinking, and proactive with excellent communication skills Proven experience in hands-on leadership and team development within a manufacturing environment Ability to articulate leadership impact with hands-on examples Experience in manufacturing leadership or supervisory roles is preferred College degree is preferred but not required; practical experience is valued over formal education NIGHT SHIFT: 6PM TO 6AM 2-2-3 swing shift: Work 2 days, then off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, and then off 3 days. This cycle then repeats. In 14 days, you would work 7, and be off every other Fri, Sat, Sun What’s in it for you?
