Overview Business Operations & Analytics, Data Analyst – BTIG

Responsibilities

Maintain and update internal databases, records, and systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of client, trade, and operational data

Import, validate, and clean data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies and resolving data quality issues

Develop and maintain data documentation and standard operating procedures

Motivate and instill accountability in other end-users

Prepare reports for business leaders, compliance, and client service teams

Collaborate with IT, operations, and sales teams on data-related initiatives and troubleshooting

Support data migrations and assist in the onboarding/offboarding of systems and users

Help implement improvements to data workflows and automate repetitive processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field

2+ years of experience in a data administration, data management, or an operations support role

Functional knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM platform

Proficiency with databases and reporting tools preferred (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Compensation BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The current estimated base salary range for this role is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Some positions may be eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
