Overview
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - C Crew at Emotiv Mobility in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for accurate documentation of shipments received and sent to and from suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate is an innovative, data-driven leader with a passion for learning and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. What You’ll Do
Receiving: Ensure all supplier and customer ASN’s are entered and/or electronically loaded within specified times. Load and review supplier ASN’s against receipts to ensure correctness and transmission within defined time windows; escalate discrepancies as needed. Compare supplier’s carrier against transportation routing instructions; complete Document of Excess Transportation Cost forms as necessary. Escalate damaged freight and input any shipping inaccuracies when needed. Provide directions to inbound carrier drivers for dock assignment and/or drop yard instructions. Receive, process and store necessary shipping paperwork; track approved shipping labels for suppliers. Shipping: Prepare customer shipping paperwork (bill of lading, packing slip). Fully responsible for “sequence only” product and provide appropriate paperwork including dunnage-only loads to carrier drivers. Assist in plant-wide inventory activities, as required. Document activities as required, adhere to company guidelines and ensure employee safety. Who You Are
High School Diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of basic labor or business operating procedures. Some automotive or warehouse experience is preferred. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel). Strong written and verbal communications skills, with attention to detail, follow up and follow through. Able to maintain confidential information. Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements
