ABA BCBA Student for a Behavior Technician Role - Staten Island . Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technicians/Therapists (BTs) to work with school-aged students diagnosed with ASD. You will support ABA therapy sessions under the supervision of a BCBA, following individualized treatment plans with SMART goals. Responsibilities include data collection and session documentation. About Achievement Behavior Services:
Since 2015, we have been providing ABA home-based therapy to children with ASD aged 3-23, led by experienced BCBAs and LCSWs. Our mission is to connect children and families with effective ABA tools and practices for ongoing success and independence. Responsibilities: Assess and document student progress on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Conduct 1:1 ABA sessions involving discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, and reinforcement Maintain thorough session notes, data analysis, and billing documentation Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and incorporate professional feedback Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Flexible part-time hours, including after school and weekends Opportunities for professional development, including RBT certification Qualifications: Preferred: Master's degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field Preferred: Active RBT certification Strong communication skills Ability to adapt in high-stress situations Reliable and punctual Experience working with children with Autism and developmental challenges Additional Details: Seniority level: Internship Employment type: Part-time Job function: Education and Training Industry: Home Health Care Services
