ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate with areas to fill requests for equipment and arrange transport when needed Utilize company-owned equipment when possible/available to fill requests Rent equipment necessary to fill requests when company-owned equipment is not available and verify basis hours with area Secure all necessary documents and required machine information from the vendor ASAP to initiate machine rental Return rental equipment when no longer needed and secure the rental release number from the vendor Maintain a daily log of outgoing rentals and returned rentals Secure OSOW permits for equipment transport Complete equipment adjustment spreadsheet daily - detailing change of status (working/down/available...etc.) and/or location change for all equipment company-wide and send to Equipment Office Manager Maintain current Annual Oversize Permits for Indiana lowboys transports Stay current on Michigan Frost Law restrictions as it pertains to scheduling equipment moves Maintain on-file current insurance certificates for sub-contract hauler/transport vendors Utilize Rieth-Riley lowboys for hauling when possible Take area equipment requests, for bidding purposes, and secure multiple rental rate quotes, calculate transportation, tax, company add-on and fuel cost per hour and provide rate quote to area Stay current with Indiana & Michigan transportation weight laws/restrictions Other duties may be assigned Qualifications
