ESN is seeking a
Quality Control Specialist III (Automated Tester)
to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract supports Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support, and includes automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, JIRA/Confluence management, Cyber compliance, and project support.
Location: Chesapeake, VA (On‑site).
Required Education High School diploma/GED related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
Required Certification Security+.
Experience
5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
Experience ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
Three years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, possibly including database maintenance within an application area.
Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS).
Specific Experience
Three years' experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) software testing.
Three years' experience in developing automated software tests.
Two years' experience in an agile software development process.
Security Clearance Must hold an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
Salary $90 000 – $110 000 per year.
