Warehouse / Forklift Operator

The Warehouse Forklift Operator will process incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient shipment storage. Compensation ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, depending on experience. Essential Functions : Assist as needed in loading and unloading trucks and/or containers for interstate commerce. Crate and uncrate shipments, including stenciling, labeling, and banding. Clean and organize the warehouse. Check in and out shipments and keep the locator file up to date. Deliver shipments as needed. Operate forklift as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Ability to lift at least 40 lbs regularly. Knowledge of company systems. Ability to make decisions related to warehouse operations. Knowledge of warehouse procedures. Required Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Experience in logistics and transportation preferred. Working Conditions : Mainly indoors. Lifting in excess of 40 lbs frequently. Standing or walking most of the time.
