Job Summary The QC Inspector will work closely with departmental managers, production staff, and suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, minimizing rework and waste, and maximizing customer satisfaction. The role involves overseeing all activities related to the final inspection of products and relevant documentation, fostering business growth alongside developing team skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and report on Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of work scope packages.
Control and verify the accuracy of all required component parts.
Complete various inspection and quality reports.
Prepare mechanical and inspection reports to standard.
Ensure traceability of all parts and maintain documentation trail.
Record and document traceable information to certify manufacturing processes to high standards.
Skills & Experience Required Technical Skills:
2+ years of hands-on dimensional inspection experience with precision tools (e.g., Calipers, OD Mics, Dial Indicators).
Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information, including GD&T drawings and Critical Dimension reports.
Knowledge of MTRs and NDT certificates.
Knowledge of coatings is a plus.
Operational Skills:
Willingness to share information and collaborate to eliminate roadblocks.
Ability to quickly identify critical information and respond appropriately.
Personal & Interpersonal Skills:
Strong customer focus.
Team player with collaborative problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and ethical.
Top Required Skills
Hands-on dimensional inspection experience.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience processing NCRs.
Proficient computer skills.
Familiarity with ISO 9001-2015 standards is a plus.
