Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Commissioning Manager
to lead and coordinate all commissioning activities for an industrial facility in Wisconsin. This is a critical role ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality execution from system turnover through to Commercial Operation Date (COD). You will be responsible for the
planning, preparation, and execution
of commissioning, trial runs, acceptance testing, and operational readiness, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, schedules, and budget. Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and manage commissioning activities from turnover to COD, ensuring timely completion within scope, budget, and contractual requirements. Ensure technical safety of the plant, implementing EHS policies, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and Work Permit programs in compliance with local laws and regulations. Supervise and coordinate safe plant operations during commissioning, including site rules, safety regulations, shift plans, and logs. Liaise with partners, customers, and internal teams to align on commissioning execution plans Accept system turnovers from erection, execute turnover to customers, and manage final commissioning documentation per contractual requirements. Requirements
Proven experience in commissioning management within the power industry, power generation, industrial plants, energy projects. Strong technical knowledge of plant systems and commissioning processes. Demonstrated leadership in enforcing EHS standards and site safety compliance. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and project milestones. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. Seniority level
