Overview
Davies Risk Services is an industry leader and premier provider of premium audit and loss control services with 30+ years in business. We are seeking Premium Auditors who are inquisitive, driven & self-directed, love numbers and spreadsheets, and enjoy working in the field with diverse clients. This is an opportunity to build your own business as a contractor; you control your schedule and workload, and compensation is per job. Davies provides training for entrepreneurial-minded individuals to own a Premium Audit business.
Responsibilities
Meet with client policyholders onsite, virtually, or by phone to conduct end-of-policy premium audits and review business operations, payroll, sales or cost records, and to verify class codes as required by the insurance contract.
Individually schedule appointments with clients to conduct the premium audit and obtain necessary information.
Submit audit reports via web portal and Davies’s exclusive premium auditing software.
Contact clients and communicate via phone, email, and face-to-face discussions.
Examine commercial businesses’ payroll and tax records.
Evaluate operational practices and adherence to customer requirements and quality standards.
Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.

Qualifications
Live in the geographic area advertised.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.
Strong customer service and people skills.
Numbers-oriented and analytical.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills to find solutions.
Premium Audit experience is not required.
