Responsibilities
Assist with after-school program operations, including student supervision.
Develop and implement diverse activities for 4th–8th-grade students.
Provide homework assistance and support to students.
Maintain a safe environment and positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Collaborate with other program personnel to support program goals.
Hours Available hours are 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours as a tutor may be available during the 8:00 am to 3:00 pm school day. See other listing for opportunities in math, reading, and civics education.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM, enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count). If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate with other program personnel.
