Overview Lutron is seeking an innovative and dynamic Senior Customer Service Specialist to join our Serena Inside Sales and Services team. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional support to homeowners and professional dealers, guiding them through product education, selection, quoting, and order coordination.
This is a great opportunity to grow your career while deepening your knowledge of smart home technology. You'll work alongside a customer‑focused team, helping drive the success of our Serena and Caséta shade solutions through outstanding service and meaningful customer interactions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and chat—supporting everything from product selection and design guidance to troubleshooting and order inquiries.
Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, helping identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Apply creative problem‑solving to deliver tailored solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Develop deep expertise in Serena shades, Caséta products, and related tools including our website, chat system, admin platform, and online design tools.
Support Budget Blinds dealers by gaining knowledge of additional Lutron shade and system components.
Convert customer inquiries into sales using proven techniques and a consultative approach.
Ensure timely, professional follow‑up with customers to maintain satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support team and business goals.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree required; if less than five years of work experience, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 is required.
Minimum five years of work experience in a customer‑facing role preferred; leadership experience is a plus.
Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate in‑office schedule.
Must have availability to work rotating schedules between the hours of 8 am–8 pm EST M‑F and 9 am–6 pm Saturdays.
