Zurich North America is hiring a Premium Audit Auditor II to join our team. The position is fully remote with flexible working locations in CA, OR, WA, ID, NV, UT, AZ, or NM.
Job Overview As a Premium Audit Auditor II, you will perform examinations of policyholder accounting and financial records to ensure accurate calculation of earned premium for moderate‑complexity risks. Your work will support the integrity and reliability of our premium audit process.
Key Accountabilities
Plan, organize and manage assigned workload and territory.
Provide timely and accurate service to insureds, agents, and internal partners to complete the audit process on moderately complex risks.
Provide information and feedback to enhance communication and maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensure audited exposures are accurately calculated.
Resolve potential disputes or questions that arise from the auditing function.
Assist in the training process for new auditors as needed.
Provide technical advice that enables customers to solve problems or improve business.
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
Anticipate customer needs and provide feedback on trends to recommend changes.
Escalate technical issues within the function or unit.
Listen and understand needs, providing feedback for process, service, or product improvements.
Participate in short‑term defined scope projects.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in the Casualty Premium Audit area.
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7+ years in the area.
Zurich approved Apprenticeship Program with an Associate Degree and 5+ years in the area.
Experience with laptop computer auditing and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals and industry practices.
Preferred Qualifications
APA certification.
CPCU certification.
Large, multi‑state premium audit experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $64,600.00 – $105,900.00 with 10% short‑term incentive bonus eligibility.
