Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee all import logistics processes to ensure timely and compliant delivery of materials and components.

Prepare and manage all required documentation for U.S. Customs clearance, including:

CBP Form 7501 (Entry Summary)

CBP Form 3461 (Entry/Immediate Delivery)

Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading

Certificates of Origin (USMCA, FTA, etc.)

Arrival Notices, ISF (Importer Security Filing), and Delivery Orders

HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification documentation

FDA, EPA, or other Partner Government Agency (PGA) documentation when applicable.

Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure efficient international shipments and compliance with CBP requirements.

Verify and reconcile customs entries, ensuring all duties, taxes, and fees are accurately assessed and paid.

Maintain accurate and organized records of import transactions in accordance with federal regulations and company policy.

Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehousing, and finance—to align import schedules with production timelines.

Track, analyze, and report import‑related costs; identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

Monitor updates to trade compliance laws, tariffs, and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Support audits and internal reviews related to import/export operations and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of hands‑on experience in import/export coordination or international logistics, preferably in a manufacturing, energy, or technology environment.

Proven experience managing U.S. Customs documentation, including Form 7501, Form 3461, ISF filings, and Certificates of Origin.

In‑depth understanding of Incoterms, HTS codes, and customs valuation principles.

Familiarity with Partner Government Agencies (PGA) such as EPA, DOE, and CBP requirements.

Proficiency with ERP and logistics management systems (SAP experience preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a commitment to continuous improvement and compliance.

Employment Type & Schedule:

Employment Type: Full‑time, Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours (occasional extended hours during peak shipping periods)
